A delicious and healthy family favorite: well seasoned, but certainly not too spicy for the little ones. This chilli sin carne with rice is prepared with delicious Mexican herbs and is packed with crispy vegetables and vegetable minced meat. This meal is also gluten and soy free.
The following nutritional values are per serving (400 grams):
Cooked rice (18%) (water, rice), tomato (22%), red kidney beans (12%), black beans (8%), onion (7%), sweetcorn (7%), red pepper (7%), pea protein mince (12%) (water, pea-protein mince (12%) (water, pea protein (3%), coconut oil, onion, pea fibre, methylcellulose*, distilled vinegar, red beet juice concentrate, potato starch, spices, apple juice concentrate, caramelised sugar syrup, sunflower oil, spice extract, salt), tomato purée, grilled red pepper, smoked paprika powder, coriander, garlic, oregano, salt, cumin, red chilli pepper, coriander seed powder, agave syrup, lime juice, paprika powder, cinnamon, rapeseed oil. *Methylcellulose comes from plant cells. We use it to obtain the desired texture and consistency.
Add your favourite oil to a frying pan and heat the frozen product on medium heat for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Note: Heat up the entire contents of this bag (800 grams) in one go, even if you want to save a portion for a later date. This way, the ingredients and the sauce mix in the right proportions. After, preparation, any leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for a maximum of two days or in the freezer for longer storage.
Store at -18°C or colder. Do not refreeze after thawing.
I was so impressed by this Chilli Sin Carne! It’s packed with flavor from the Mexican herbs, and the balance of veggies and vegetable mince is perfect. The rice makes it so filling, and it’s great that it’s not too spicy for the little ones. This is going to be a regular in our weekly meals!
