Pasta Pesto with Chicken Style Pieces

An all time favorite: Pasta pesto!

  • 500 grams pasta
  • 500 grams chopped cherry tomatoes
  • 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
  • 40 g pine nuts
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • 50 grams of rucola
  • 1 lemon
  • 280 grams of Lazy Vegan Chicken Style Pieces

Cook the pasta as described on the package. Stir-fry the Chicken Style Pieces for 5 minutes in a frying pan. Put the olive oil, rucola, half of the pine nuts and garlic in a bowl. Blend them into a nice pesto. Add a bit of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Roast the rest of the pine nuts in a separate pan on medium heat for a few minutes.

Put the cooked pasta in a large saucepan, mix in the pesto and some Chicken Style Pieces. Top it of with some roasted pine nuts. Serve and enjoy!
