Vegan Teriyaki Sauce Bowl

This Vegan Teriyaki Sauce by the amazing Romy London is so simple, you won’t believe it!

Ingredients

  • 12 tbsp tamari soy sauce
  • 8 tbsp maple syrup
  • 4 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 8 cm fresh ginger, diced
  • 8 bulbs fresh garlic, finely diced
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 12 tbsp water
  • 3 grilled bell peppers
  • 4 tbsp cornflour
  • 280 gram Chunky Pulled Peaz Mediterranean

In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients for the sauce. Add in the cornflour last and use a whisk to evenly dissolve it in the liquids. Grill the bell peppers (or any other vegetable of your choice), than add the teriyaki sauce to a pan over medium heat alongside the rest of the ingredients. Continuously stir as the sauce begins to thicken and take if off the heat after a minute. Stirfry the Chunky Pulled Peaz for a few minutes and add them to your sauce. Serve with rice or noodles and sprinkle with sesame seeds and spring onions. Enjoy!
